Chicago Mayor Freaks Out Over More Bused Illegals, Calls It “Manufactured Human Crisis”

Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot seems a bit upset over the continued busing, but, not much over something like

Chicago shootings: 46 shot, 7 fatally in Labor Day weekend violence across city, police say

Just another weekend in the Democratic Party run city of Chicago

Mayor Lori Lightfoot lashes out at Texas Gov. Abbott after 50 more migrants are bussed to Chicago

More migrants arrived in Chicago from Texas on Sunday and Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot once again slammed Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, saying he is using them as human pawns.

The migrants arrived in the Windy City after Abbott sent two buses carrying migrants to Chicago last week. Abbott said he will continue to bus migrants to sanctuary cities until the federal government secures the southern border.

Lightfoot said that while she welcomes new residents, she has a problem with Abbott bussing the migrants to her city.

“My frustration comes from the actions of the governor of Texas,” she said at a press conference. “There could be a level of coordination and cooperation, but he chooses to do none of those things. Instead, he chooses to send human beings across the country to an uncertain destination. That’s unacceptable.”

You mean like how the Biden administration is sending border crossers all over the country on a constant basis, often on flights in the dead of night to cities that have zero choice and often do not know they’re there? Using groups that provide clandestine services to the CIA and NSA, who then use buses with the company names covered up?

“He is manufacturing a human crisis and it makes no sense to me,” Lightfoot said.

Right, right, it wasn’t Democrats who created the conditions where hundreds of thousands of people, not all of them from Central and South America, trek to the U.S. southern border to demand asylum (of which less than 10% will qualify), and the Biden admin has mostly left the border wide open. Many of them have criminal records, and U.S. law is rather explicit about denying them entry, per Title 8 Section 1325. If Democrats do not like having the illegals bused, well, they should work to secure the border. They should back the remain in Mexico policy. They should stop telling the migrants to show up.

There’s a very silly story also at Fox News about a rise in the thefts of Kias and Hyundais from a TikTok challenge, where states are suing the car manufacturers, rather than TikTok for allowing a “challenge” that is a telling kids to perform felonies. It includes this

Illinois authorities recently reported a 767% increase in Hyundai and Kia vehicle thefts in the Chicago area since the beginning of July compared to last year.

“Vehicle theft is up an astounding 767% due to an emerging TikTok challenge,” the Chicago Police Department’s 15th District said in an Aug. 24 community advisory. “This challenge is a play by play [sic] for young adults on how to steal both Hyundai and Kia vehicles. These automobile thefts are a crime of opportunity and can affect just about any member of the community.”

Where’s Lightfoot on these thefts?

Your Fault: Flood Maps Out Of Date Because You Won’t Buy An EV

How dare you!

US flood maps outdated thanks to climate change, Fema director says

Flood maps used by the federal government are outdated, the director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or Fema, said on Sunday, considering a series of devastating floods caused by excessive rainfall induced by climate change.

Deanne Criswell told CNN’s State of the Union: “The part that’s really difficult right now is the fact that our flood maps don’t take into account excessive rain that comes in. And we are seeing these record rainfalls that are happening.”

Criswell was questioned about the situation in Jackson, Mississippi, where city water facilities failed in the aftermath of heavy flooding on the Pearl River, leaving residents without drinkable or usable water.

On Sunday, thunderstorms and heavy rain pounded parts of north-west Georgia, sparking flash floods. Local news reports showed roads under water and homeowners struggling. (snip)

Criswell said Fema would work with local jurisdictions “to help them better identify what their needs are and help them create better predictive models, because we have to start thinking about what the threats are going to be in the future as a result of climate change, so they can put the mitigation measures in place”.

Well, he could be correct, but, not because of climate crisis doom. Land use changes. Areas are paved over, others are stripped of all their trees for homes and business buildings, which changes what happens with the water from rains, turning areas that usually wouldn’t flood into ones that will. Or direct all that water downstream.

A 2020 study of flood risks by the nonprofit First Street Foundation that analyzed every property in the 48 contiguous US states found federal maps underestimated by 67% the number of homes and businesses in significant danger.

Doesn’t mean it’s due to Hotcoldwetdry. But, the cult has to fearmonger always.

Bummer: Democrats Seem To Still Be Avoiding Biden On The Campaign Trail

Shot

Fewer Democrats are calling for Biden to forgo a 2024 reelection campaign, buoyed by his legislative victories and falling gas prices: report

Chaser

Asset or liability? Biden’s momentum hasn’t led to new invitations on midterm campaign trail

During a trip to Wilkes-Barre, Pa. last week, President Joe Biden lavished praise on Pennsylvania’s Democratic Senate nominee John Fetterman, calling him “a hell of a guy” and “a powerful voice for working people.”

“He’s going to make a great United States senator,” Biden said.

But Fetterman, the state’s lieutenant governor, was not in attendance. The campaign said a pre-scheduled fundraiser forced Fetterman to miss the White House event on public safety.

Biden is a full-contact campaigner, known for hugging supporters, telling stories about life in Scranton, Pa., and giving fiery speeches about the little guy. But even as his once-floundering approval ratings improve, it’s unclear how often the president will be asked to join Democratic candidates in key states and congressional districts.

How many want his gaffes and ability to denigrate voters at their rallies? Him hugging and kissing little girls? Slurring his words, getting angry, losing track of what he’s saying? And, while his approval number has come up a bit, he’s still way underwater. Democrats are just avoiding the notion of him running in 2024, and the Compliant Media is refusing to ask politicians to answer the question on him running in 2024. Notice most pollsters are avoiding question on the economy and Biden’s handling of it

“If this were a couple of months ago, I think most Democratic candidates in a lot of these swing states would have been loath to be seen with him,” said David Cohen, a political science professor at the University of Akron. “Now, he’s not necessarily a huge asset for a lot of these campaigns, but he’s also not a drag on the ticket.”

Less than 70 days before the midterms, Biden is hitting the road with his first traveling blitz of the campaign season. This week, his schedule will collide with the itineraries of three Democratic Senate candidates in crucial races, testing whether they view him as a liability or strength to their campaigns.

Will Fetterman and Wisconsin Democratic Senate nominee Mandela Barnes be available? U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, Ohio’s Democratic Senate nominee, says he will be at an event at an Intel semiconductor manufacturing plant where Biden will be, but, time will tell. But, he’s also not asking Biden to campaign for him.

Still waiting for any reporter to ask Biden why he’s not traveling in an EV.

Trump Calls Biden An Enemy Of The State At Rally

Well, considering Biden is trying to remake America into a Progressive (nice Fascism) state, yeah. It might be more real to label Biden, and his advisors, an enemy of half the people, after Biden’s comments, but, smarter to avoid that and not cause that blue/red division like Biden did

Trump blasts Biden’s anti-MAGA speech: ‘He’s the enemy of the state’

Former President Donald Trump blasted President Joe Biden’s address to the nation earlier in the week calling it the most “vicious” speech ever given by an American president.

“This week, Joe Biden came to Philadelphia to give the most vicious, hateful, and divisive speech ever delivered by an American president,” Trump told a raucous crowd on Saturday night in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania while campaigning for Republican candidates in the commonwealth. “Vilifying 75 million citizens, plus another probably 75 to 150 if we want to be accurate about it, as threats to democracy and enemies of the state. You’re all enemies of the state.”

Trump continued, “He’s the enemy of the state if you want to know the truth.”

Biden was widely criticized by conservatives for his speech in Philadelphia on Thursday in which he claimed that “equality and democracy are under assault” by “MAGA forces.”

Biden has declared himself your enemy for this agenda

Biden and his people are against those things.

(NY Post) The majority of Americans believe political divisions have worsened since the beginning of 2021, a new poll finds — and two out of five think a civil war is likely to break out within the next decade.

About two-thirds — 66% — say Americans have become more split politically since the start of 2021 and they are largely pessimistic about the future of the United States, with 63% saying they expect the separations to increase and 62% predicting political violence will worsen over the next few years, the YouGovAmerica poll shows.

Asked about the likelihood that the country will be riven by a second civil war in the next 10 years, 14% believe it is “very likely,” 29% say it is “somewhat likely,” while 24% opt for “not very likely” and 11% say “not likely at all.”

Another 22% say they aren’t sure.

If you aren’t complying with the extreme authoritarian agenda of Biden and his Comrades, you are Evil, and are labeled as such, so, is it any wonder that so many think a civil war may be coming? I doubt it will be violent, at least from our side, but, could look more like a belligerent divorce. The difference between a republic and a confederation is that, in the confederation, it is voluntary for states to stay in the union. If the federal government has broken the compact, the terms of the Constitution, then there is no need for states to stay in. Some may start opting out.

It’s also a heck of a lot more likely that Trump runs in 2024, and, it’s also more likely that Biden will ramp up his nasty rhetoric.

Humans Have Caused Global Weirding Chaos On Earth Or Something

The Cult of Climastrology will never, ever, not in a million years give up on their scaremongering. Just like they won’t give up their own big carbon footprints

Global Weirding: Humans Have Caused Chaos on Earth

Humans have disturbed the climate to such a great extent that we have created chaos on Earth, scientists say.

“Scientists say” is always amusing

Climate change as a result of burning fossil fuels, deforestation and pollution has caused an intensification of weather and hydrological extremes, which will continue to worsen.

If the cult wasn’t so extremist, perhaps we could do something about problems that are environmental, like deforestation and real land, sea, and air pollution.

Weather records around the world are being broken almost annually. The U.K. saw its hottest ever summer this year, Pakistan is experiencing some of the worst flooding in its history, and China’s Yangtze River is so dry from drought that the government is preparing to cloud-seed to make it rain. Wildfires have been plaguing California and Oregon all summer, causing mass evacuations and worsening atmospheric pollution.

Weather records only go so far back: how do they compare during the Medieval and Roman warm periods? Don’t forget, these cultists also blame cold weather records on a warming earth.

Auroop R. Ganguly, director of the Sustainability & Data Sciences Laboratory, told Newsweek this increase in extreme weather events has become known as “global weirding”.

“On the hydrometeorological hazards side, heat waves are getting (and are further projected to get) even hotter, cold snaps persisting even if growing less frequent, heavy precipitation getting heavier, and so on. The impacts can be far-reaching across multiple sectors such as ecosystems and coastal processes, aspects of the water-energy-food nexus, infrastructures and urban lifelines,” he said.

Yup, it’s a cult. Oh, his degrees are in engineering, not climate or meteorology. Also mentioned is Matthew Casale, Environment Campaigns Director at nonprofit group PIRG, who doesn’t have a degree in science.

“To stop global warming and prevent the effects from getting worse, we need a mix of individual and collective action,” Laura Deehan, state director of Environment California, told Newsweek.

“The more of us who walk or bike instead of driving, buy electric vehicles instead of gas-powered cars, put solar panels on our roofs, reduce energy waste in our homes and offices, the better off we will be. But individual action won’t be enough on its own; we also need every concerned individual to tell their elected leaders that we are counting on them to take action to address climate change right now. By acting together we can catalyze the widespread policy change that sets our whole society on a better path forward.”

Interestingly, Laura fails to mention what individual action she’s taken, and the article author, Jess Thomson, forgot to ask. Oh, and Laura is also not a climate scientist, having a BA in international relations. So, an article with “scientists say” includes zero actual scientists. Huh.

Surprise: Biden’s Nasty, Divisive Speech Creates Calls For Violence

Interestingly, this story doesn’t mention the calls for violence from Biden supporters who now feel emboldened by Biden saying things like “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic” and calling them fascists and semi-fascists (which is rather ironic), extremists, terrorists

Biden speech denouncing Trump, ‘MAGA ideology’ sparks threats, calls for violence

President Biden’s fiery speech in Philadelphia denouncing former President Donald Trump and what he described as “extreme MAGA ideology” has sparked online calls for violence, including death threats against the president, according to documents obtained by Yahoo News.

Biden’s remarks also prompted immediate concerns from senior counterterrorism officials who said they fear that calling Trump supporters extremists would be viewed as a call to arms and would only inflame an already volatile threat environment.

“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal,” Biden said Thursday night at Independence Hall, flanked by two U.S. Marines. “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

If you slam and slur 74 million Americans, well, you’re going to get the response you asked for

By Friday afternoon, posts on forums popular among white supremacists and far-right extremists called for the assassination of Biden, and named Jewish administration officials including Attorney General Merrick Garland, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as potential targets. Declarations of civil war were also appearing, according to documents detailing some of the threats.

“On Gab, one user posted a series of violent threats accusing Biden of stealing the election,” according to a threat alert from Site Intelligence Group sent to law enforcement agencies and others on Friday. Trump and many of his supporters have long claimed, without evidence, that the 2020 presidential election won by Biden was stolen from Trump due to widespread voter fraud.

Site Intelligence Group, which tracks online extremism activity, issued several threat alerts detailing calls for violence in response to Biden’s speech. The potential threats were posted in online forums tied to the Proud Boys, neo-Nazis and other extremist groups.

I’m concerned they might attack and firebomb a federal justice center, loot and pillage stores, burn down black stores and areas, and create their own independent zone with lots of crime and violence, pushing store owners and residents out.

“Users on several far-right and ultranationalist venues made violent threats against President Joe Biden following his speech addressing political extremism on September 1, 2022,” said one of the alerts. “Users advocated for Biden to be murdered and predicted violence if he continues speaking about the topic.”

And how many Lefties threatened Trump? How many were willing to threaten Trump openly?

During Biden’s speech, four current U.S. domestic counterterrorism officials told Yahoo News they were concerned the president’s words would further divide the nation and lead to increased threats against government and law enforcement officials.

“I fear he is lighting a fuse that is not going to go well,” one senior Biden counterterrorism official said. “Sadly this is not a united speech but a very divisive one.”

Well, duh. And, of course, the Biden admin is using the violent rhetoric that they created with that divisive speech

“The President’s message couldn’t have been more clear: there is no place in our democracy for political violence,” the Brandon House statement said. “None. And that some of the more extreme elements in our society are now calling for more violence only proves the very point of his speech … that we are in a dangerous moment right now, a moment where simply stating the truth about the fragility of our democracy brings out the worst instincts of those who want to tear it apart. The President was right to call them out. The bigger risk to the body politic would have been to remain silent in the face of such a threat.”

And then he flew off to Camp David for the 7th weekend this year (20 in Delaware, 8 elsewhere than the White House), having done his job in 100% dividing America. And whipping up a Republican passion to vote in the mid-terms.
