Politico: Trump Is Still Gunning For EVs Or Something

Seriously, how dare Trump stand in the way of the climate cult forcing the peasants into EVs!

Never mind Trump’s new rhetoric — he’s still gunning for EVs

Donald Trump’s embrace of electric vehicles since picking up Elon Musk’s endorsement isn’t reassuring the EV industry — and likely won’t stop Trump and other Republicans from trying to throttle President Joe Biden’s push for non-gasoline-powered cars and trucks.

Trump’s recent change in tone reflects a softening in rhetoric about EVs on the campaign trail, but is much in line with his positive comments about the vehicles during his presidency and his 2020 reelection bid. Republicans and EV industry officials say they would still expect Trump to gut Biden’s efforts to get more electric vehicles on U.S. roads, and to repeal tax incentives that the GOP nominee alleges benefit China.

The uncertainty about Trump’s potential electric vehicle policies goes to the heart of one of the biggest implications of his third bid for the White House: How much of Biden’s $1.6 trillion climate, energy and infrastructure agenda would he seek to reverse — including programs that stand to benefit GOP-friendly states and businesses.

After more than a year of denigrating Biden’s EV policies as “lunacy” and calling for electric car supporters to “ROT IN HELL,” Trump told a rally in Atlanta this month that he’s for “a very small slice” of cars being electric.

Except, Trump has never been against EVs, he’s been against government forcing citizens into EVs. You can argue that it’s not really a mandate, but, the terms of the law and rules would force the end of most fossil fueled vehicles, including hybrids. And nowhere in this article do they provide any evidence that Trump is going to actually come after EVs

Mike Murphy, a longtime GOP strategist who founded the EV Politics Project to boost Republican support for EV adoption, said Trump’s recent comments indicate his opinion on EVs may be malleable — and Musk may be the one person who can change his mind.

“Trump is not a hopeless cause for EVs,” Murphy said. “If Trump has proven one thing, it’s that he’s flexible — and Elon could be a force for good with Trump on EVs.”

It would be interesting if Trump would actually build out the charging infrastructure that the Biden-Harris administration has failed to do. Three years and there are around 7 stations, comprising a few dozen charging ports. Hilariously, Biden’s DEI orders have caused massive problems, and Trump will dump those.

Biden-Harris Program Meant To Remove Illegals Instead Lets Most Stay

Don’t worry, though, folks, Kamala totally has a plan for when she’s in office

Biden program meant to remove illegal migrant families has instead allowed 90% to stay in US

surprise surprise surpriseA signature Biden-Harris administration program to quickly remove families who entered the US illegally is allowing nearly 90% of migrants to stay in the country, new data reveal.

Of 24,000 migrants who were put into the Family Expedited Removal Program since May 2023, more than 22,000 were allowed to stay in the US — and only 2,600 have been deported, a little over 10%.

More than 3,600 migrants have also absconded from the program and are believed to be unaccounted for in the US, according to the internal data.

“These numbers are further proof that the Biden-Harris administration’s policies have nothing to do with actually securing the border or enforcing the law, but instead masking its utter refusal to do either of those things,” House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.) told The Post.

“Such a dismal rate of removals makes clear that President Biden, ‘border czar’ Kamala Harris, and now-impeached DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are committed to ignoring U.S. immigration law, while attempting to hide that fact from the American people. Ultimately, these individuals have a simple responsibility — detain and remove those who have no lawful basis to remain,” Green added.

What happened was that an ankle monitor would be put on one of the adult family members for those who actually came in family units, and this would keep the whole family unit together while they have their asylum claim adjudicated. Most would not qualify. However, in Biden-Harris World just over 10% have been sent packing. The rest the Democrats will try and give amnesty.

Professor Of Journalism Says Journalists Shouldn’t Be Neutral When It Comes To Climate Doom

In case assistant professor Perry Parks of Michigan State missed it, most journalists who write about the climate scam are completely biased, as they are on most issues

Why journalists shouldn’t be neutral on climate change

The immediacy and the stakes of human-driven climate change have never been clearer. Yet journalists reporting on climate-driven disasters are still pulling punches in their coverage. They often don’t explicitly invoke climate change in their reporting and even more rarely do they identify the primary culprit behind it: the human consumption of fossil fuels, egged on by oil and gas companies that have long known better.

Journalists cherish their performance of neutrality when reporting on controversial issues. But this commitment to appearing “balanced” — even when one side relies on evidence and the other is making things up — has come at a profound cost. It’s led major news outlets to cover what should be the science story of our time through the lens of politics, resulting in a delayed, diminutive planetary response to the once slowly, and now rapidly, accelerating climate emergency.

Journalistic neutrality posits that it’s possible to approach a news story without filtering choices through some system of values: about what’s right and wrong, true and false, important and trivial, “normal” and deviant. But this long-held reporting norm is a fallacy. Contemporary media critics such as Jay Rosen and Lewis Raven Wallace have aptly argued that all communication originates in “a view from somewhere”: We are inevitably influenced by our experiences, our families, our peers and our moral commitments, and it’s more productive to recognize and acknowledge these commitments than to delude ourselves or (as journalists often do) overrepresent views we find harmful just to demonstrate impartiality.

This is what students are treated to in journalism school. They are taught to be biased. Impartial. Advocates. Activists. Hence why we see what we see in the news. How few treat the climate crisis (scam) as something to question.

There’s only one way for journalists to minimize harm around climate change — and that’s to fight it.

They are no longer journalists at that point. But, then, most journalists/reporters has stopped being such decades ago.

NY Times Seems Upset Musk Threw Trump “Softball Questions”

I wonder what those softball questions were? Maybe about his summer playlist? Favorite shirts? What questions has Kamala answered?

Musk Tees Up Softball Questions for Trump on X, After Technical Problems

What was supposed to be Donald J. Trump’s triumphant return to a social-media platform central to his presidency was marred by glitches on Monday night, when a livestreamed conversation on X between Mr. Trump and its owner, Elon Musk, was significantly delayed by technical issues.

But once their chat began, 40 minutes after it was scheduled, Mr. Musk’s and Mr. Trump’s newly developed camaraderie was on clear display, with the billionaire tech entrepreneur lobbing softball questions that allowed Mr. Trump to rattle off the talking points that have animated his presidential campaign.

The conversation offered little new information about Mr. Trump’s views. Over the course of more than two hours, Mr. Trump attacked Vice President Kamala Harris, his Democratic opponent, as a “phony” who, along with President Biden, failed to address crossings at the U.S. border with Mexico. He repeated a number of false claims, including that the 2020 election was rigged, the criminal cases against him were a conspiracy by the Biden administration to undermine his candidacy and the leaders of other nations were deliberately sending criminals and “their nonproductive people” to America.

And then the Times wonders why the media is hated and distrusted, why they are called biased and activists for the Democratic Party. This article is in their politics section, yet it reads more like an opinion piece or Harris press release. They fail to delve into what the questions were, and Trump’s full answers. Even CNN had more

Trump and Musk began their discussion with the former president retelling in detail how he had survived the assassination attempt at his Butler, Pennsylvania, rally on July 13. Trump discussed how the shooter had been spotted by local police and rally attendees, and he praised the Secret Service for their reaction to the shooting.

Their conversation covered a broad array of topics — including lengthy portions on energy policy, climate change and the threat of nuclear warfare; immigration, with Trump promising the “largest deportation in the history of this country”; federal government spending, with Musk proposing a commission to look for ways to make cuts; and more.

Trump talked issues. What has Harris talked about? Who has she done an interview with?

Warmists: Doing Something About The Climate Crisis (scam) Shouldn’t Increase Inequalities

Perhaps the six authors at The Conversation have noticed something about the climate cult push?

The fight against the climate crisis must not increase inequalities

As the impact of climate change on communities increases, researchers are concerned about growing inequalities.

The most recent report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) stresses the importance of one aspect that is too often neglected by local action on climate change: considering the question of inequalities.

Studies show that the people, communities and groups that are the most affected by climate change are generally those who have contributed the least to the current climate crisis. Marginalized people and communities — for example, those living in poverty, racialized persons or persons with disabilities — find they have to cope with interlinked compound crises that amplify their distress and precariousness.

These groups and communities are developing initiatives to increase climate justice at the local level and redirect priorities for public action. For example, they are promoting concerted climate action around issues such as equity, self-determination, resilience, poverty reduction and well-being.

This is all cute and stuff, but, the reality is that the climate initiatives, rules, and laws from the climate Elites tend to harm the working class and middle classes negatively the most. And, really, those in 3rd world countries who aren’t even working class. Like kids forced to dig lithium for EVs and solar panels. The Elites do not worry about the ever increasing cost of living. Cost of food, energy, housing. They will continue to drive around in their fossil fueled limos/luxury SUVs, fly private jets, head off to luxury vacations, and government won’t be taking their freedom and life choices away.

Research shows that local climate action policies that ignore different forms of inequality tend to exacerbate the harms experienced by marginalized communities. In some cases these policies even have the effect of delaying climate gains.

This issue is at the heart of our research. We are involved in the Canada Research Chair in Urban Climate ActionUrban Planning for Climate Change and the Ecological Transition. We have also published various studies and articles on this issue, which we consider a crucial one.

It is vital to ensure that any approach to climate action take into account issues of equity and justice, in order to prevent the fight against the climate crisis from becoming a greater social crisis within marginalized communities.

Does this sound like science or politics/government policy?

Mother Jones Is Concerned Trump Is Whipping Up Hatred Against Illegal Aliens Or Something

See, it’s OK to whip up hatred against Jews and Republicans by the left, but, not OK to demonize illegal aliens

Trump’s Dangerous Campaign of Hatred Against Migrant “Invaders”

On the morning of August 3, 2019, a 21-year-old man walked into a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, and opened fire with a semiautomatic rifle. He murdered 23 people and injured 22 others. Most who died were Latino, including eight people from Mexico.

The gunman had driven to the border city from 650 miles away. In custody, he told police he’d come to kill Mexicans. Some writings he’d posted online said his attack was “a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas” and that his mission was “defending my country from cultural and ethnic replacement brought on by an invasion.” He cited an extremist ideology known as “The Great Replacement.”

These were not obscure ideas. The gunman wrote that he agreed with a recent mass shooter in New Zealand who had espoused them. He also knew some of these themes were being championed at the time by President Donald Trump. With help from Fox News pundits, Trump was whipping up fear and hatred of an alleged “invasion” coming across America’s southern border—the message was central to Trump’s reelection campaign in 2019, a focus of his ads and speeches warning ominously of a national demise.

See, it’s fear and hatred to want to secure the border, which is one of the main thing that makes a sovereign nation a sovereign nation. If these same people were breaking into the homes of Democrats and Mother Jones writers you can bet they would want them arrested and booted from their homes, right? Anyhow, they mention one crazy person. How about

Illegal migrant allegedly commits 22 crimes in 6 months: ‘It will get worse,’ expert says

An illegal Venezuelan migrant with suspected gang ties who has allegedly committed 22 crimes in six months in New York City still hasn’t been deported, according to a local news report and the House Judiciary Committee.

“The problem in New York is you have a sanctuary state and a sanctuary city, and they put politics ahead of public safety,” said Tom Homan, who served as acting director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement under President Trump. “Sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals.”

Daniel Hernandez Martinez, 30, a reputed member of the ultra-violent Tren de Aragua gang, was first encountered by the U.S. Border Patrol in January 2023 in Texas, according to the House Judiciary report released Wednesday.

He was booted, then came back in to continue his crime reign

Woman, 46, ‘brutally raped at knifepoint by migrant at famed boardwalk as another held back her boyfriend’

A woman was raped at knifepoint by a suspected migrant next to the Coney Island boardwalk in New York over the weekend, while another asylum seeker fought off her boyfriend, it is claimed.

The unprovoked attack reportedly happened outside a hotel housing asylum seekers Sunday around 9pm, and has since resulted in rumored Nicaraguan migrant David Davon-Bonilla, 24, and 37-year-old Mexican Leovando Moreno’s arrest.

They should put the asylum centers in the rich folks areas, see if they continue to want unfettered illegal immigration

NYC migrant accused in vicious beating of Times Square cops arrested again after he’s bailed out

A migrant accused of leading an assault on a pair of New York City police officers in Times Square earlier this year before being quickly released was arrested again for serial theft, according to media reports.

Yohenry Brito, 24, of Venezuela, was arrested Tuesday for a pair of thefts at Sephora makeup stores in Manhattan, law enforcement sources told the New York Post.

Why are we allowing them to remain in the US when they are committing crimes?

Warmists Realize That Using All Sorts Of Other Phrases Doesn’t Help Their Cult Cause

Of course, it doesn’t matter what you call it, few Believers will practice what they preach

If you want Americans to pay attention to climate change, just call it climate change

You probably have been hearing phrases like “climate crisis,” “climate emergency” or “climate justice” more often lately as people try to get across the urgent risks and consequences of climate change. The danger is real, but is using this language actually persuasive?

It turns out that Americans are more familiar with – and more concerned about – climate change and global warming than they are about climate crisis, climate emergency or climate justice, according to a recent survey we conducted with a nationally representative sample of 5,137 Americans.

Moreover, we found no evidence that the alternative terms increased people’s sense of urgency, willingness to support climate-friendly policies or willingness to act.

The familiar terms – climate change and global warming – did at least as well, and sometimes better, than climate crisis and climate emergency in eliciting concern, perceived urgency and willingness to act. Climate justice consistently tended to do worse, likely in part because it was the least familiar. The responses were similar among Republicans, Democrats and independents.

To me, it appears as if once you start using the other phrases you’re fearmongering and putting it in a political context. Not that climate change and global warming aren’t really backed by politics instead of science, but, they at least give the impression that this is somewhat related to science. Climate justice? 100% politics.

Regardless, people may pay attention, but, most are not going to make any changes in their own lives. Why should they, when most of the elites pushing this stuff make zero changes in their lives?

Black Muslim Group Thrilled Kamala Is Taking Palestinian Side

She has more empathy for the people who backed the US State Department designated terrorist group which attacked and slaughtered Jewish civilians, which makes Islamist groups happy

Harris shows ‘more sympathy’ for Gaza than Biden and Trump, says black Muslim leader

Vice President Kamala Harris has displayed greater empathy for the people of Gaza than both President Joe Biden and Former President Donald Trump, according to Salima Suswell, the founder and chief executive of the Black Muslim Leadership Council Fund. In a recent interview with NBC, Suswell praised Harris for her calls for a ceasefire and her efforts to ensure aid reaches Gaza, noting, “She has repeatedly called for a ceasefire and has shown deep empathy toward civilian life.”

The Black Muslim Leadership Council Fund, a 501(c)(4) organization, is known for its advocacy on behalf of the Black Muslim community in the United States. Established by Suswell, the fund focuses on a range of issues including social and criminal justice, economic equity, and environmental justice. The organization has been particularly vocal about the need for a balanced US foreign policy, especially concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

This recent endorsement of Harris marks a significant shift, as many Muslim organizations had previously been critical of Biden and were uncertain about Harris’s stance on Middle Eastern policy.

It’s not surprising that Muslim groups have flocked to Harris for her hard take on Israel. The BMLC is too new to to truly understand if they have radical leanings, though Salima Suswell sure has shown some anti-Semitism and Islamic supremacy in her background. And these are the people that the Harris-Walz campaign are pushing for votes.

Neo-Nazism and Islamism: Who is Asad Zaman, the Imam hosted by Tim Walz?

Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’s new running mate in her presidential campaign, has hosted an extremist Islamist Imam on several occasions, the Washington Examiner first reported over the weekend.

Walz hosted Zaman three times in 2019, once in 2020, and again in 2023, among others, the Washington Examiner reported.

The Washington Free Beacon found last week that Walz appeared alongside an antisemitic scholar at a conference called “Challenging Islamophobia,” hosted by CAIR in 2019. The scholar Hatem Bazian has defended anti-Israel terrorist activities, the report noted.

Imam Asad Zaman pledged his support to Palestinians after October 7 and has previously promoted a Neo-Nazi propaganda film expressing support for Hitler, the Washington Examiner revealed.

The Washington Examiner revealed Friday that Walz has also donated $100,000 to the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, a non-profit headed by Asad Zaman. According to court records, the Muslim American Society was once described as “the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States.”

So, Walz liked hanging with Islamic radicals. Quite frankly, the attacks on Walz pulling a blue falcon and padding his military resume are small potatoes, and the Trump campaign and Republicans should focus on things like Harris and Walz supporting Islamic extremists, as well as economic matters.
