Pearl Clutching Credentialed Media Very Upset Over “Let’s Go Brandon”

You had to know that, suddenly, all the media would lose their minds over the “Let’s Go Brandon” call

Anti-Biden rallying cry ‘Lets Go Brandon’ causes mainstream media meltdown

Corporate media and liberal reporters have come together, united in a common cause as everyone from allegedly neutral reporters to far-left pundits have gone nuclear in an attempt to shut down three words: Let’s Go Brandon.

The phrase became an internet sensation last month after an NBC reporter at a NASCAR Xfinity Series race incorrectly reported that fans in the stands were chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” following a victory by driver Brandon Brown, when they were really shouting, “F–k Joe Biden!”

Memes, jokes, and comments immediately began to spread across the internet posted by users mocking NBC’s coverage during the interview. The “F–k Joe Biden!” chants, which began at some large sporting events across the country as the president’s poll numbers sagged, have now been replaced in some venues with “Let’s Go Brandon” chants.

But the chant’s popularity has infuriated the left, resulting in an onslaught of angry tweets, columns and hot takes from liberal pundits. NPR labeled the term “vulgar” and CNN’s Edward-Issac Dovere was so offended by the phrase that he called it “an inside joke telling the president of the United States to perform a sexual act on himself.”

Washington Post reporters Ashley Parker and Carissa Wolf wrote on what they considered “vitriol” from Biden critics in a piece titled “Biden’s critics hurl increasingly vulgar taunts.”

The article claimed, “The current eruption of anti-Biden signs and chants, however, is on another level, far more vulgar and widespread” than anything seen in previous administrations.

That piece mentions several other outlets who are losing their minds, but, the Washington Post is an interesting one, since they published cartoons by Ted Rall, such as this one saying Hitler was better than Bush. He had plenty of others. How about the UK Guardian’s Charlie Brooker calling for someone to assassinate Bush43 if he won re-election? There was plenty of assassination chic, as Michelle Malkin termed it, during Bush’s terms, which reappeared during the Trump years.

There was plenty of nasty invective thrown towards Bush and Trump, including the F word. Here’s hundreds of artists coming together to say Fuck Trump. Here they are chanting Fuck Trump at the World Cup. And here’s Eminem leading a Fuck Trump chant at a concert. I could give you tons of examples of Bush and Trump derangement syndrome, but, you get the point. Where were the pearl clutchers then? Generally just reporting it as “news”

Here’s disgraced journalist Dan Rather, who gave up all his journalistic cred to publish a fake hit piece against Bush43 because of BDS

A Party Embraces Vulgarity

I have tried for some time to avoid commenting on a topic that I felt should be so far beneath our political discourse that to give it the oxygen of attention would be to play into the strategic hopes of those who are seeking to debase our democracy. But as Yoda, the wise sage of Star Wars, might say if he was trying to fight those who have turned to the “dark side” of our national polity, ignore it no longer I can.

The issue at hand can succinctly be summed up in three words: “Let’s go Brandon.” If you have no idea what I am talking about, consider yourself fortunate. For reasons too mundane to fully outline here, “Let’s go Brandon” has become a favorite chant and rallying cry for many Republicans as a stand-in for another three-word chant that you may also have heard : “F- Joe Biden,” with F-, for the purposes of decorum in this newsletter, standing for a four-letter vulgarity.  Search for “Let’s Go Brandon,” and you will start finding it everywhere – all over social media, a song with a ton of downloads on iTunes, at political rallies, and among snickering Republicans in Washington.

Apparently, Dan forgets all the Crazy Moonbattery against Bush. And the people in his administration, particularly the blacks, even more against Condi Rice. There’s a cartoon somewhere in the archives (and probably still saved deep in the photo files, maybe at my Photobucket), that was published in a mainstream outlet of Rice give oral to Bush. It’s really, really bad. We remember the invective thrown Bush’s way. We remember the Democrats wanting to lose in Iraq because Bush was president. We just witnessed four years of disgusting stuff towards Trump, Melania, and their son. The same media had zero problems with this. So, they can go pound sand.

Hot Take: Parent’s Rights Is Code For White Race Politics Or Something

Apparently, Juan Williams doesn’t think black parents give a damn over what their kids are being taught

Juan Williams: ‘Parents’ rights’ is code for white race politics

After white supremacists spilled blood in defense of keeping up Confederate statues in 2017, the GOP candidate for governor of Virginia, Ed Gillespie, said the monuments should stay up as a matter of heritage and history.

His TV advertising featured threatening images of Latino gangs, labeled illegal immigrants, involved in murder and rape.

The racially loaded ‘Culture Wars’ campaign, straight from then-President Trump’s playbook, gave Gillespie a push but he ultimately lost the race to Democrat Ralph Northam.

Now Virginia Republicans are back with a new and improved ‘Culture Wars’ campaign for 2021. The closing argument is once again full of racial division — but this time it is dressed up as a defense of little children.

The rallying cry is ‘Parents’ Rights.’

Well, that’s a huge jump of logic. And, yes, Latino gangs like MS-13 do tend to be mostly illegal aliens.

It is a campaign to stop classroom discussion of Black Lives Matter protests or slavery because it could upset some children, especially white children who might feel guilt.

Sigh. No, it’s not. At least in terms of slavery. It’s a matter of not trying to make kids feel like shit for something that happened over 150 years ago that they had nothing to do with. Not having a syllabus that tears down non-black people for things they weren’t involved in. Oh, and not teach kids unnecessary things, like that boys are actually girls, that anal sex is awesome to 3rd graders, that they should read sexually explicit books that cannot even be read aloud at school board meetings, and more. Parents just want the basics taught, not turn the schools into a full on indoctrination center.

Unlike their earlier defense of Confederate monuments, the ‘Parents’ Rights’ campaign message at first glance looks to have zero to do with race.

Because it doesn’t. Because you’ll see black parents protesting, along with Asian and Latino. But, of course, in Juan’s World, it does

Terry McAuliffe, the Democratic candidate, calls the Republican message a “racist dog whistle.”

“Youngkin’s closing message of book banning and silencing esteemed Black authors is a racist dog whistle designed to gin up support from the most extreme elements of his party — mainly his top endorser and surrogate, Donald Trump,” McAuliffe said in a statement.

These were the same people who defended Ralph Northam and his blackface photos, posing with a person in a KKK outfit. But, this is the way they all work: make everything and everyone who Disagrees with them raaaaacist.

Critical Race Theory  — broadly, a focus on racial disparities as a fact of American life — is not explicitly taught in Virginia’s public schools or anywhere in American public schools. But Republicans nationwide have made it a boogeyman to excite racial divisions and get their base to the polls.

Yes, it is taught, and they’re trying to teach it in other places. And, the irony here is that it was and still is Democratic Party policies that create those racial disparities. Before the Civil Rights era it was overt racism from Democrats, after it’s covert ones, keeping them down on the plantations in Dem run big cities, leaving them behind.

BTW, does Juan actually think this argument will work, calling parents who are concerned over what their kids are being taught and exposed to, ie, transgenders in their little girl’s bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers, exposing themselves and even raping them, racists?

Young Climate Cultists Travel To Glasgow To Say This Is “The Last Chance For Humanity”

It’s rather amusing that all these youths have allowed themselves to be so indoctrinated that they are actually advocating for government to take their money and run their lives. Also, how many took long fossil fueled flights?

Young activists call Glasgow climate conference ‘last chance for humanity’

There are over 14,000 kilometers separating the African nation of Malawi from the United States. A direct airplane between the two would take an estimated 16 hours, and, as well as physical distance, the lands are also culturally miles apart.

But one thing that unites both countries, and many other nations around the world, is having young climate change activists fighting for their voices to be heard.

Some of those very campaigners have traveled to Glasgow, Scotland, to attend the U.N. Climate Change Conference.

Yahoo News spoke with some of the young changemakers to discuss their hopes at the landmark event.

Nicki Becker (from Argentina) became a climate change activist after seeing a video of young people striking from schools across Europe in 2019, inspired by Greta Thunburg’s worldwide movement Fridays for Future.

“Nobody was talking about the climate crisis in my country, which is why I started to become a climate activist,” Becker said. “I thought, why are young people like me striking for something that I didn’t hear anything about?”

Maybe no one was talking about it because they know it is a load of mule fritters and they have real concerns in their lives?

Now Becker, who is part of the Argentinian version of Fridays for Future (Jóvenes por el clima Argentina) is attending COP26 and explained her reasons for wanting her voice to be heard by officials and negotiators.

Did she take a sailing ship, or a fossil fueled flight?

For Chifundo Zingunde (from Malawe), successful negotiations at the conference hold a different meaning.

“I’m pretty sure COP26 will be the last chance for the history of humanity,” said Zingunde, who is unable to travel to Glasgow but is participating in talks virtually.

Whatever. They say this every year. It’s a doomsday cult.

Then you have Sophia Kianni, 19, United States, who took a fossil fueled flight to Glasgow. As did Kevin Mtai, 26, Kenya. And Jon Bonifacio, 24, Philippines

Bonifacio said he dropped plans to study as a doctor to pursue climate activism full-time after finding out that the hospital he would potentially work in could be submerged under the sea level in less than 30 years.

Idiots.

Commerce Secretary On Christmas Shortages: “Call Fed Ex”

For an administration which apparently wants to control everything they sure seem to like to deflect blame, and just say the craziest things

Commerce Secretary Raimondo to Americans Worried About Christmas Supply Chain: ‘Call FedEx’

Biden Brain SuckerCommerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that she tells people to “call FedEx” if they ask her if the supply chain problems will mean Christmas gifts may not be delivered.

Partial transcript as follows:

MARGARET BRENNAN: Supply chains around the world have been massively disrupted over the past few months. We have all of these bottlenecks. Why haven’t the ports? Why haven’t the truckers? Why hasn’t this become unstuck?

RAIMONDO: Yeah, good morning. So, this is, as you say, a top issue for Americans. It’s a complicated- complicated issue. I mean, last year during COVID, we shut our economy down. You know, I was the governor at the time. We shut down Rhode Island’s economy. We have never seen that before. So that meant factories closed. People went home. You can’t just turn the economy back on overnight. So, it takes a little bit of time. I will say we are making progress. You know, due to the president’s leadership, we now have the ports open 24/7 seven and the two largest and busiest ports.

That was their one big idea. That’s it

BRENNAN: But there are reports that those- while the president announced the 24/7 opening, that that’s not actually happening out in California, that there are still backups. The business community has been complaining about that.

RAIMONDO: There are backups. And as I said, this isn’t something that can be fixed overnight. But the important thing is, you know, fundamentally, supply chains and logistics are run by the private sector. People say to me, will Christmas gifts be delivered? To which I say, call FedEx. You know that- that isn’t what the government does. What we are doing, and the president is committed to this. We’re using every tool in our toolbox to be supportive, to help to unstick the ports. An area that I am very focused on is the semiconductor shortage. We are leaning forward into that increasing transparency in the semiconductor supply chain to make sure that we do everything possible. But this is a direct result of COVID. It is temporary and we are working every day to unstick these supply chains.

That’s just so unbelievably condescending. Is there a stronger version of the that word? Without dropping the F word in front of it? These people never go into details as to what they are doing. What does Fed Ex have to do with semi-conductors? In fairness, there isn’t all that much they can do. The government makes virtually nothing. If Trump were still president we’d have most of the same issues. The difference is, Trump and his people would have made this issue number 1, primarily looking to get people to relax, telling them things will eventually be back, to have confidence, to be positive. Heck, from what I’ve seen this is what we’re seeing from the leaders in the UK, Germany, Japan, and France. But, not Joe’s admin. They aren’t focused on this, forgetting that the economy is the #1 thing on people’s minds, and how it affects themselves.

Trump would be looking to temporarily relax rules and regs, help supply chains streamline. Joe’s 24/7 strategy? It’s not working

Union Pacific Corp (UNP.N) – one of two major railroads that haul cargo inland from the backed-up Los Angeles and Long Beach seaports – handled just a few dozen more containers after switching its nearby cargo terminal to 24/7 operations, Chief Executive Lance Fritz said on Thursday.

The railroad’s Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) last week added roughly 20 hours in the early mornings on Sunday and Monday to take the facility to round-the-clock operation. The move supported the Biden Administration’s plan to ease snarls at the Southern California ports that process roughly 40% of the container cargo that enters the country.

But so far, it hasn’t made a big dent.

“We’ve seen four dozen incremental domestic intermodal loads come through,” Fritz said in a Zoom interview. “It helps somewhere, and it will stay open 24/7 if that’s what it needs.”

Union Pacific (UNP.N) executives and other logistics experts say that a shortage of available warehouse space and port and long-haul truckers are stymieing efforts to keep up with the surge in cargo to the United States – where the world’s most avid consumers have been buying more goods than ever due to pandemic-related curbs on travel and entertainment.

The Commerce Secretary is being condescending, the Transportation Secretary is MIA, and Biden is focused on other stuff.

Climate Guarantees Sea Rise Of 5 Feet In Coming Decades

It’s doom! They just refuse to say in how many decades. But, hey, just know it’s coming, except their prognostications, and submit!

Sea level is already guaranteed to rise by 5 feet, climate scientist says

Based on the amount of greenhouse gases humans have already added to the Earth’s atmosphere, the world is guaranteed to experience approximately 5 feet of sea level rise in the coming decades, climate scientist Benjamin Strauss told “The Climate Crisis Podcast.”

“It’s in that range, you know, 5 feet plus or minus. And that’s because we’ve already warmed the planet by around 2 degrees Fahrenheit, 1.1 Celsius,” Strauss, the president and CEO of Climate Central, a nonprofit that tries to educate policymakers and the public about the threats posed by climate change, told Yahoo News. “Think of it this way: If I dumped a truckload of ice in the middle of Phoenix, we’d all know it’s going to melt. But it takes time to melt. And the same thing is true for the big ice sheets on Greenland and Antarctica and glaciers around the world. We turned up the thermostat. We’ve already heated the planet by a couple degrees, but they’ve only begun to respond by melting. And that’s why we have all this extra sea level in the pipeline and it’s, it’s enough, I’m afraid to say, it’s hard to imagine the long-term future of South Florida, let’s say, right, with the sea level that’s already in the pipeline.”

Uh, no. It’s around 1.5 Fahrenheit, so, they’re already lying to you adding 25% to the actual measurement since 1850.

Strauss, who has testified before Congress on the number of American houses that will be threatened due to sea level rise caused by climate change, noted that current estimates are that seas will rise by 2 to 3 feet by the end of the century and will continue rising in the decades that follow. Yet the fact that roughly 5 feet of sea level rise has already been baked in to the planet’s future is, for Strauss, even more incentive for the world to come together to prevent that figure from creeping even higher.

So, is it 2-3 feet by the end of the century (which would be around 3-4 times the actual measured sea rise), or 5 feet in the “coming decades”? Interesting how no journalist actually does their job as a skeptic and demands proof of this.

Hawaii’s beaches are disappearing due to climate change

Rising sea levels paired with recent storm surges have been causing faster than usual erosion on Hawaii’s beaches and shorelines.

“The coastal issues that are related to climate change are sort of the canary in the coal mine,” coastal hazards specialist Tara Owens told This Week co-anchor Martha Raddatz, who reported from Hawaii as part of ABC News’ ‘Climate Crisis: Saving Tomorrow’ series. “Everybody who lives here in Hawaii is an oceanographer. … You’re looking at the tides … you’re paying attention to the waves. You can’t ignore or bury the problems, because you see them every day.”

Owens said that in Maui alone, 85% of shorelines are eroding and beaches are “narrowing” as a result.

First, there’s no proof that a rising sea, something you’d expect during a Holocene warm period, is because you drove a fossil fueled vehicle. Second, there should be around double the actual sea rise that’s happening. 3rd, where do they get these numbers? Because

  • Nawiliwili, Hawaii – 1.78 millimeters/year
  • Honolulu, Hawaii – 1.55 millimeters/year
  • Mokuoloe, Hawaii – 1.69 millimeters/year
  • Kahului, Hawaii – 2.3 millimeters/year
  • Hilo, Hawaii – 3.17 millimeters/year

That last one is equivelant to .1248 inches a year. That’s not even half an inch every 4 years. If that keeps up, then we’re starting to get close to what one would expect for sea rise for a normal Holocene warm period century. But, hey, Hawaii is fine with banning all use of fossil fuels, right? No FF vehicles, no FF ships bringing in products, no FF airplanes bringing in tourists, right?

Brandon Fail: Democrats Fail To Sell Their Agenda To American People

Surrender Joe and his Democratic Party Comrades have spent most of the time since Joe was inaugurated pushing their infrastructure bill which includes very little for actual infrastructure and their Big Agenda bill, meant to change America and put the government even more, way more, in control of citizens lives than before. How’s that working out?

Biden, Democrats failing to sell agenda to American people: POLL

Negotiations on the infrastructure and social program bills have consumed Capitol Hill for months. Still, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll out Sunday finds Democrats are failing to sell the legislation to the public, who are broadly unaware of what is in the spending packages or skeptical they would help people like themselves, or the economy, if signed into law.

President Joe Biden was unable to secure a legislative win before departing on his second foreign trip since taking office, even after he laid out a framework for the package focused on social programs and climate change around which he believes Democrats can rally. He pitched that package, which no longer includes paid family and medical leave or free community college, as a “historic economic” opportunity on Thursday, but this poll reflects the continued confusion and intraparty mistrust over these bills.

Although a majority (55%) of the public is following news about the negotiations at least somewhat closely, about 7 in 10 (69%) Americans said they know just some or little to nothing about what’s in both bills. Fewer than half (31%) said they know a great deal or good amount. Despite Republicans having sat on the sidelines while the White House works exclusively with congressional Democrats to get both bills to the president’s desk, the lack of knowledge extends across all parties.

It’s hard to know what’s actually in the bills when they are both massive, both contain way too much stuff, especially what used to be $6 trillion, then $3.5 trillion bill, and now about $1.75 trillion, because they have mostly failed to provide text of the bills, they are hard to read, and the Credentialed Media has failed to do their job in digging deep into the frameworks. They put this all together in secret, leaving Republicans out, despite barely hold a majority in the House and being 50-50 in the Senate

Americans also do not feel like these bills would help them or the U.S. economy if they become law.

The ABC News/Ipsos poll, which was conducted using Ipsos’ KnowledgePanel, found that a plurality (32%) of Americans think the bills would hurt people like them if they became law, while fewer (25%) think it would help them. Nearly 2 in 10 (18%) think the bills would make no difference, and 24% said they didn’t know.

Oops?  Complete messaging failure.

Even among Democrats alone, fewer than half (47%) think the two bills would help people like them. A quarter of Democrats think the bills would make no difference for people like them and about 2 in 10 (22%) don’t know how they would impact their lives. Nearly two-thirds (64%) of Republicans think the bills would hurt people like them, and so do about 3 in 10 (29%) independents.

Put that way, it’s even worse.

The American public is evenly divided — 34% to 34% — over whether they believe these bills would help or hurt the U.S. economy if they become law. Very few (6%) think the bills would have no effect on the economy, and a quarter don’t know. Democrats are much more likely to think the legislation would help the economy if enacted than Republicans and independents, 68% compared with 7% and 29%, respectively.

That number for Independents does not bode well for the mid-terms, eh? But, we know the Democrats won’t give up. They’ll keep focusing on their Crazy agenda, rather than attempting to do stuff that will actually help the post-Chinese coronavirus recovery. They see a chance to remake America, and won’t stop. They’ll continue to divide America. Republican states will sue. Things will get bogged down. And we will get closer to that Big Split, which is really no longer a conspiracy theory.
