Bummer: Gen Z Indoctrinated Into Have Climate (scam) Anxiety

Seriously, why is this not considered child abuse? Gen Z, just like a lot of Millennials, were indoctrinated in government run schools over climate doom, and all the fearmongering has turned them into mental messes. If a parent treated their children this poorly they’d be taken by the state and the parents charged

A wave of climate-change anxiety has spread amongst Gen Z. Here are the U.S. states where they’re most and least distressed.

Medical journal The Lancet surveyed almost 16,000 16- to 25-year-olds from each state in the U.S.—and found the kids are quite simply not alright. A whopping 85% report being concerned about climate change, a worry that remains high across all political parties.

Blame the climate cult Lancet, teachers, politicians, and the media

Climate change evokes feelings of anxiety (65.8%), powerlessness (65.8%), and fear (65.1%) among the youth—fueling a majority to agree with the sentiment that “people have failed to take care of the planet.”

They’re been taught to lose their shit over a minor 1.6F increase in global temperatures since 1850, and never exposed to data or the historical records from previous Holocene warm periods. They been indoctrinated into not looking.

“Young people in America are struggling emotionally and psychologically with the effects of climate change,” co-author Lise Van Susteren wrote in the study’s press release. “They are afraid and angry and doubting their future prospects. As we decry the mental health crisis in America’s youth, and search for answers to address it, this survey helps to spotlight climate change as a significant source of distress,” she added, explaining that elected officials play a role.

The US needs to invest in mental health facilities that do deprogramming. Of course, the government is one of the biggest purveyors of the cult scam, which is way worse than Scientology, Branch Davidians, and others. At least they didn’t try and force people to join.

But the youth is most concerned in these 5 places:

  1. Connecticut and Rhode Island
  2. Texas
  3. Massachusetts
  4. New Jersey
  5. Washington

And least concerned

  1. Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota
  2. Arkansas
  3. Alabama
  4. Mississippi
  5. South Carolina

It’s surprising that Texas is so high, but, Democrats have worked hard to get uber-leftists into the state and into teaching positions, which lean uber-left to start with. But, only 30.7% are extremely worried, as compared California which is 32.3%. California is #8 on the list. Florida is also in the top 10, but, only 27.8 are extremely worried.

Of course, the Lancet never bothered to ask “Have you changed your lives to accord with your climate beliefs? Stopped using fossil fuels?” The Lancet is also the organization which came up with the horrendous and shoddy study on how many died during the 2003 Iraq war.

cBS News Says Their Kamala Harris Interview Was Totally On The Up And Up

There’s still something missing, though

CBS News breaks its silence over editing allegations in ’60 Minutes’ interview with Harris

CBS News pushed back against former President Trump’s claim that “60 Minutes” deceitfully edited its interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, dismissing the allegation as “false” in a statement released Sunday.

After weeks of staying mum despite mounting backlash over the interview, CBS published a statement Sunday evening addressing the outrage that ensued after airing two different answers to the same question in the “60 Minutes” interview earlier this month with the Democratic nominee.

“Former President Donald Trump is accusing 60 Minutes of deceitful editing of our Oct. 7 interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. That is false,” the statement began.

“60 Minutes gave an excerpt of our interview to ‘Face the Nation’ that used a longer section of her answer than that on 60 Minutes. Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response. When we edit any interview, whether a politician, an athlete, or movie star, we strive to be clear, accurate and on point. The portion of her answer on 60 Minutes was more succinct, which allows time for other subjects in a wide-ranging 21-minute-long segment.”

And, then, of course, it had to pivot to Trump, because Trump Derangement Syndrome is real, and, hey, why not, it’s all Kamala seems to be able to do. And, if you’ll remember

CBS News has taken heat in recent days for airing two different answers to the same question in its “60 Minutes” interview earlier this month with Harris. Harris was mocked by conservatives when footage of her offering a lengthy “word salad” was aired by CBS’ “Face the Nation” to promote the “60 Minutes” sit-down, when Bill Whitaker asked why it seemed like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wasn’t listening to the U.S.

It’s hard to reconcile the different answers with “light editing” or striving “to be clear, accurate, and on point.”

The thing is, cBS News makes no mention of releasing either the full transcript, the unedited full interview, or both. I wonder why?

Say, Could Yapping About Climate Doom Help Harris’ Campaign?

Warmist Bill McKibben pops his head up at the New Yorker, a city that could not survive without fossil fuels for planes, ships, helicopters, trucks, cabs, limos, and cars

Could Talking About Climate Change Now Help Kamala Harris’s Campaign?

No. Period. Fully stop, as they say. Does Bill think Kamala is capable of having an adult conversation on this? Does he realize the word salad that would spew forth? Does he think this will play to anyone but the most fervent Democrat voters? Does he think that the average voter who has seen their cost of living skyrocket during the Biden-Harris admin cares? Or the ones seeing the border overrun with illegals/migrants shipped to their towns causing all sorts of issues care? Or that WWIII is just around the corner care?

Kamala Climate ClownNot that you’d know it from this year’s Presidential campaign. Vice-President Kamala Harris, since becoming the Democratic nominee, has spoken very little about climate change. To the degree that a transition from fossil fuel has been discussed at all, it’s been in the form of her assuring Pennsylvanians that she won’t interfere with fracking. She has spoken about creating green jobs, but not much else. The reasons are fairly clear. First, the Democratic Party essentially had no primary season. Biden faced only token challenge, and when he stepped down Harris was nominated by acclamation, so activists had no chance to elevate climate change to a crucial electoral issue, as they had done in 2020. Remember the backdrop: Greta Thunberg’s movement had crested in the fall of 2019, with some six million people marching in protests around the world. In this country, the Sunrise Movement was pushing a Green New Deal. The governor of Washington, Jay Inslee, who was also briefly a Presidential candidate, called that time a “magic moment” for climate politics. NBC reported, “Climate change has recently shot to the top of polls of issues that Democratic voters care about in the presidential primary, rivaling for the first time longstanding bread-and-butter topics like health care.” Harris, in her primary bid, said that global warming “represents an existential threat to who we are as a species.” Biden, after winning the nomination, secured Senator Bernie Sanders’s support by committing to work with him on climate initiatives.

Yes, that is all one paragraph. And, yes, Jay Inslee flamed out badly in the 2020 primaries, because no one cared that his entire focus was climate doom. No one cared in reality in 2020, not with COVID still raging, and with economic conditions collapsing.

If Harris’s team thinks that supporting fracking in Pennsylvania is key to winning over undecided voters, then so be it. But, especially as polling still shows widespread support for climate action, it wouldn’t hurt to send a broader signal of concern about this most crucial of issues. The 2012 Presidential election was similarly quiet about global warming—there was no mention of it in the debates—until Hurricane Sandy hit the mid-Atlantic, in late October. Michael Bloomberg, New York’s Republican-turned-independent mayor at the time, used the occasion for a surprise endorsement of President Barack Obama, saying that the devastation had brought the stakes of the election into “sharp relief.”

Bill is cool with Kamala lying about her support of fracking, which, if elected, she will immediately look to ban fracking in Pennsylvania and everywhere else. Yapping about it will only help with her hardcore base. It won’t move the needle anywhere else.

“Palestinians” Pushing For Ceasefire At UN Or Something

Suddenly, now that Sinwar is corpseified, the Palestinians want a ceasefire. They sure weren’t pushing much while Sinwar and Hamas were stonewalling

Palestinians pressing UN Security Council to call for immediate ceasefire in Gaza

The Palestinian Authority is pressing the United Nations Security Council to approve a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, as the UN warned that the humanitarian crisis in the enclave had intensified.

“We will be pressing for as quickly as possible for a resolution, demanding an immediate ceasefire” in Gaza, Palestinian Authority ambassador Riyad Mansour told reporters in New York on Saturday.

The resolution would also bring “humanitarian assistance to scale” to all corners of Gaza, he said, adding that the resolution could be brought forward as early as Tuesday.

They could get it in a heartbeat if Hamas would surrender, release all the hostages, and the Palestinians in Gaza stopped supporting terrorist organizations and terrorism against Israel and Jews.

“We need to save lives, not to kill more people, and we need to stop this crime against humanity and war” as well as the “crime of forced displacement” that Israel is committing, he said.

“It is the duty of the Security Council to say, ‘we demand an immediate ceasefire and compliance by all parties, and we demand that this take place, for example, within 24 hours or within 40 hours. Or else,” Mansour said.

Or else what, Sparky? Israel has been kicking the ever-lovin’ sh*t out of Hamas. Where will you get all the weapons and such? The PLO supports Iran, but, Iran doesn’t support the PLO. Iran supported Hamas. And the PLO is a designated terrorist organization by several US government agencies, as well as by law.

Overall he called for an Israeli withdrawal to the pre-1967 lines and for a two-state resolution to the conflict with east Jerusalem as the capital of the future Palestinian state.

So, let’s say Israel goes back to the pre-1967 lines: that would mean the West Bank belongs to Jordan and Gaza to Egypt (though, some will say those were “Palestinian” areas): neither country wants Palestinians, they are too much trouble. Might those nations say “GTFO”? If the Palestinians in Gaza weren’t so violent Israel would probably let them have Gaza. Don’t forget that Egypt has a big wall on their border with Gaza.

Meanwhile

Hagari: IDF to strike Hezbollah financial institutions, expose Iranian terror funding
“In the coming days, we will reveal how Iran funds Hezbollah’s terrorism using civilian institutions, associations, and charities as cover for their operations.”

By strike, they mean they will blow them up. Good.

WWIII Watch: Iran Backed Hezbollah Attempts To Assassinate Israeli PM Netanyahu

This is what happens when Western nations and the United Nations decide to chastise Israel, rather than Hamas, Hezbollah, and their backers in Iran, and leads even further down the road to larger scale war in the Middle East

Netanyahu promises retaliation following assassination attempt by Hezbollah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning to Hezbollah following its alleged assassination attempt against him and his wife, calling it a “grave mistake.”

“The attempt by Iran’s proxy Hezbollah to assassinate me and my wife today was a grave mistake,” Netanyahu wrote in a X post Saturday. “This will not deter me or the State of Israel from continuing our just war against our enemies in order to secure our future.”

Issuing a stark warning to Iran and the “Axis of Resistance,” which includes Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis, the prime minister said Israel is determined to achieve its war objectives following the Oct. 7 attack and “change the security reality in our region for generations.”

“I say to Iran and its proxies in its axis of evil: Anyone who tries to harm Israel’s citizens will pay a heavy price; We will continue to eliminate the terrorists and those who dispatch them; We will bring our hostages home from Gaza; And we will return our citizens who live on our Northern border safely to their homes,” he wrote.

“Israel is determined to achieve all our war objectives and change the security reality in our region for generations to come,” Netanyahu said.

Hezbollah has nothing to lose in trying to kill Netanyahu, as the US State Department designated terrorist group is getting decimated, including their leadership. The question here is, does Iran really want a full on war? They’re already looking at retaliation from Israel for the rocket attack, and, if keep getting frisky that retaliation might a lot more than people like Biden want. It could easily involved Iran’s nuclear weapons program or something significant, rather than, say, military bases.

It’s a good thing that Biden-Harris didn’t essentially give Iran billions of dollars which Iran has plowed into terrorism activities and enabled the growth of their nuclear weapons program while whining at Israel and not Iran

Speaking of WWIII

Russia warns the United States of the risks of World War Three

Russia said the West was playing with fire by considering allowing Ukraine to strike deep into Russia with Western missiles and cautioned the United States on Tuesday that World War Three would not be confined to Europe.

Sergei Lavrov, who has served as Putin’s foreign minister for more than 20 years, said that the West was seeking to escalate the Ukraine war and was “asking for trouble” by considering Ukrainian requests to loosen curbs on using foreign-supplied weapons.

And, Lavrov yapped a lot about nuclear weapons. Is it just talk? Does Russia really want to be annihilated in nuclear fire? But, is Ukraine worth taking the chance?

Scientists Say We Should Stop Using Seasons For Conferences And Such

This wackadoodle piece doesn’t mention ‘climate change’, but, you can understand how the climate cult is propped up by wacko scientists who’ve forgotten how Science works

Nature is supposed to be a magazine about Science. Does this look like science, or, some sort of wacky DEI, virtue signaling, non-science stuff?

Hello from the Southern Hemisphere, where the days are getting longer and temperatures are rising. Yet, despite the clear signs of spring here, we find ourselves inundated with invitations to events that speak of fall or autumn, or newsletters announcing workshops that will run this coming winter. It leaves us wondering: are we invited at all into this season different from our own?

This curious oversight, in which seasons, instead of months, are used for scheduling, is especially puzzling in the scientific community — a group known for its precision and careful communication. Why do we, of all people, persist in relying on region-specific seasonal markers? What is even more baffling is that this takes place in our fields of weather and climate science, with little regard for how different things might be outside the Northern Hemisphere.

What’s the big deal? How are these people actually able to cope with the Adult World? What you have here is two people, Melissa Hart and Nigan Nazarin (no credentials supplied if they are actually scientists), who are Offended and Demand that everyone comply, instead of just moving on with their lives and dealing with a miniscule annoyance.

So what exactly is a season? The answer depends on who you ask. Is it an astronomical season based on equinoxes and solstices (following the solar calendar), or a meteorological one that starts on the first of day of a month in the Julian calendar? Even the widely used Western constructs differ in their start dates and definitions. For example, in Australia, where we are based, it’s common to use the meteorological calendar and start our seasons on the first day of the month, whereas in North America, astronomical seasons are used — winter in the United States begins on the winter solstice (21 or 22 December).

We all know what they are. De-twist your panties

To address these issues, here are some recommendations.

Avoid naming seasons for events or communication . This might not be an issue when inviting researchers from a single country, but it’s crucial if you’re trying to attract an international audience.

Provide specific dates and months . Even saying “summer (Northern Hemisphere)” implies the Euro–American-centric approach. The simple use of a month instead removes any confusion.

Respect work–life balance consistently around the globe . It’s well-known that August is often avoided for events owing to European holidays. Let’s extend the same courtesy by steering clear of scheduling major events in January, when many in the Southern Hemisphere are on holiday, and many in the world are celebrating the lunar new year.

Adjust global analyses to account for hemispheric differences . If you’re researching summer heat or winter cold, make sure to use the appropriate months for each hemisphere. Failing to do so leads to flawed analyses and skewed results.

Good grief. And this is how science was infected with idiocy.
