Biden-Harris Bring Haitians To Springfield, See Them Eat Ducks

They aren’t illegals: Biden-Harris brought them to the U.S.

Springfield, Ohio: Residents Say Haitian Migrants Crashing Cars, Spiking Insurance, Eating Ducks from Parks

The government’s delivery of roughly 20,000 migrants to Springfield, Ohio, has been a boon for real estate, local employers, auto salesmen, merchants, and the migrants — but also an unwanted shock to locals as they try to manage their own community.

The damage was displayed at the August 27 city commission meeting where voters presented their concerns about the migrants.

“Maybe we should open up go-kart land again so that people can have a chance to learn how to drive without being on these public streets,” long-time resident Jeffrey Allen told the mayor and four other commissioners.

“I really challenge you guys to get out here and do something,” Anthony Harris, who describes himself as a local YouTube influencer, told the council. “These Haitians are running into trash cans. They’re running into buildings. They’re… flipping cars in the middle of the street.”

Adding 20,000 3rd Worlders to a town of 58,000 sure has spiced it up, eh? Oh, and an unlicensed Haitian ran into a school bus, forcing off the road, and killing Aiden Clark in 2023. That blood is on the hands of Biden-Harris

The locals say the problems imported by Biden’s deputies go far beyond driving skills.

“They’re in the park grabbing up ducks by their neck and cutting their head off and walking off with them and eating them,” Anthony Harris claimed.

There are lots of reports of this happening in Springfield. Import the 3rd world and get the 3rd world. They won’t assimilate. These Haitians are here under TPS, Temporary Protected Status, meaning they are brought in for a temporary period before returning to their home countries after some sort of disaster. But, they almost never leave. Democrats keep them here. And eventually try to make them voting citizens.

Bummer: Climate Doom Could Cause Big Problems For Pacific Island Tourism

This could have been avoided, but, you like to take fossil fueled flights to Pacific islands for vacations

Climate change leaves future of Pacific Islands tourism ‘highly uncertain’

The Pacific Islands are scattered across a vast area of ocean, with some of the clearest waters in the world, and pristine beaches and rainforests.

They are a magnet for tourism, which is vital for many of the countries’ economies.

But the region’s travel industry, and those who rely on it, are increasingly fearful of the impact of continuing climate change.

“Pacific Island leaders have declared climate change as the foremost threat to the livelihoods, security, and well-being of Pacific communities,” says Christopher Cocker, the chief executive of the Pacific Tourism Organisation.

“Without immediate and innovative action, the future of tourism in the region remains highly uncertain.”

Blah blah blah. It’s a ridiculously long article that shocking, or, being that the BBC is a mouthpiece for the Cult of Climastrology, unshockingly, fails to consider that these islands would revert back to their pre-colonial pasts without fossil fuels. No one is coming on sailing ships. All these island nations have lots and lots of airports for planes and helicopters. They receive most of their goods and tourists via fossil fueled planes, along with fossil fueled cargo ships. They often use fossil fuels for their own fishing boats.

The group champions sustainable tourism and environment protection, and is restoring mangroves and planting trees. But Ms Vakacola tells me that this part of Viti Levu, Fiji’s biggest island, is already living with the consequences of warming temperatures.

Bore water is being contaminated by salinity from the encroaching sea and, more and more, rainwater must be harvested during the wet season.

“Water security is a big risk in terms of climate change,” explains Ms Vakacola.

Considering most of these islands were created from corals, rather than being volcanic in nature, did they ever consider that the seas have been much higher in the past?

Anyhow, what they really want is money. They do not want tourists to stop coming on fossil fueled airplanes.

National People’s Congress Black Caucus Extols Companies Complying With DEI

This kind of governmental interference in private companies goes way beyond socialism

Congressional Black Caucus releases corporate accountability report on DEI

A majority of Fortune 500 companies have maintained their commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) despite growing political and legislative attacks on such practices, according to a new report from the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) released Monday.

The report, “What Good Looks Like: A Corporate Accountability Report on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion,” is the first-of-its-kind report to grade such companies on DEI commitments and racial equity investments since the 2020 murder of George Floyd.

Following Floyd’s killing, a host of U.S. companies pledged to invest in efforts to reduce racial inequities across the nation and to strengthen their DEI efforts.

Would these be some of the same companies which were robbed, looted, set on fire during the mostly peaceful but fiery protests?

The report follows months of the CBC leaders meeting with CEOs and other C-suite executives in Fortune 500 companies. It also includes a ranking report card of each sector.

The financials sector had the highest response rate to the CBC’s report and came in fourth on the report card with 34 out of 93 companies receiving a top score for their efforts.

Communications services had the highest ranking, with 9 out of 19 companies receiving a top score for their efforts.

First, by what constitutional provision are these sitting members of the National People’s Congress, er, U.S. Congress, interfering with the operations of private businesses? Second, it sure seems like these CBC members are saying that blacks are unable to succeed unless they are handed everything on a silver platter. Personally, I have a more positive opinion of blacks and their ability to succeed like everyone else.

This is government intimidation at it’s worst.

College Students Go Gilligan’s Island To Keep The Lights On

Remember when the Professor built a generator?

Well

College students keep lights on by using gym equipment: ‘Super exciting … that there is an impact’

Students at Brown University have found a novel way to generate clean energy.

According to Kristin Toussaint of Fast Company, the college has installed eight SportsArt machines in the Nelson Fitness Center on campus. The new hardware takes kinetic energy from treadmills, rowing machines, and stair machines and converts it into electricity.

The initiative was powered by senior Elina Pipa, who took a class on climate solutions.

“The place where I felt like I could make a difference and really be passionate about implementing this project was Brown,” Pipa said. “I really hoped to make my pitch come true, if possible.” (snip)

As more and more institutions look to make a green energy push, you can expect to see more of these unique solutions in the hunt for sustainable, renewable energy sources. From passive and net-zero buildings and retrofittings, to the surging implementation of solar resources, organizations worldwide are committing more resources to going green.

I mean, it’s not a bad idea, converting that exercise into electricity, but, wouldn’t it just be easier to build nuclear power plants? And having the college kids give up their own use of fossil fueled vehicles? How soon till colleges start making these kinds of power generation mandatory for the kiddies?

House Report Shows Biden-Harris So Intent On Getting Out Of Afghanistan They Ignored All Advice

The Biden-Harris supporters like to say “hey, Biden was just following Trump’s plan”, but, that plan was old, Biden was the actual president, and he refused to listen, because, plans can, you know, be updated and changed

Biden was hellbent on leaving Afghanistan – ignoring military advice, NATO objections and Afghan pleas: House report

President Biden was so hellbent on getting out of Afghanistan that he rebuked any advice to the contrary, ignored the pleas of the Afghan government and disregarded objections from US allies.

That was the one of the main takeaways from the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s more than two-year investigation into America’s chaotic, deadly Afghanistan withdrawal, according to a blistering report released Sunday. (snip)

His administration consistently lied to and misled the American public to try to convince them to support his consequences-be-damned view that the US should swiftly end it’s 20-year war in Afghanistan, the review said.

Former President Donald Trump’s administration had previously created and entered into the Doha Agreement with the Afghan government and the Taliban to end the US war in Afghanistan.

But Biden forged ahead with little deference to the terms of the agreement — no matter the cost — though he would later blame the same document for forcing his hand, the report found.

That plan noted that withdrawal was based on the Taliban meeting certain terms: unsurprisingly, Biden totally ignored those terms in his rush to get out of Afghanistan.

On Feb. 4, 2021, then-State Department spokesman Ned Price announced that the US would begin the review to assess the Taliban’s adherence to the Doha Agreement to evaluate whether the US should imminently withdraw from Afghanistan.

But “in his testimony before the committee, contrary to his public statement, Mr. Price asserted the Taliban’s adherence to the Doha Agreement was in fact ‘immaterial’ to the Biden-Harris administration’s decision to withdraw from Afghanistan,” the document found.

And what was Kamala doing? She did say, after all, that she was the last person in the room during withdrawal and had a large hand in crafting the withdrawal.

Biden made the decision to pull out entirely despite nearly every military official advising against it, the document said.

“Despite President Biden’s public assertions to the contrary, our investigation has revealed the secretary of defense, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the commander of US Central Command, the secretary of state, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the commander of NATO’s Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces-Afghanistan all advised against withdrawing all US troops from the country — both during and after the interagency review,” the report said.

We all witnessed this live on TV as the Taliban overran the nation, took over military bases, claimed billions in military material, and killed American citizens. It’s a long article, worth the read. And, let’s not forget, the fecklessness of the Biden-Harris admin led Russia to think they could easily invade Ukraine.

Warmists Wants Americans To Turn Off Their AC Or Something

Why can’t these nags just mind their own business?

Scientist calls for Americans to cut off air conditioning in summer, claiming it causes global warming

A scientist is calling for Americans to cut off air conditioning after refusing to use it for 25 years during the throes of the summer in order to combat climate change.

Stan Cox is an Ecosphere Fellow at the Land Institute who also believes the U.S. military is an “enemy” to mitigating climate change. He wrote a guest essay in the New York Times on Saturday, “I Swore Off Air-Conditioning, and You Can, Too,” claiming that “air-conditioning is making our summers even hotter” due to climate change.

“The greenhouse gases created by the roughly 90 percent of American households that own A.C. units mean that running them even in balmy temperatures is making the climate crisis worse,” Cox wrote.

Yeah yeah yeah. You do you. Leave the rest of us alone. Of course, you know that these cultists want to get the government to force people to turn the AC off, or, at least keep it at a much higher temperature.

For those who might say it’s a drastic step that’s too far, Cox believes that they’ll get used to living without AC.

“Our species evolved, biologically and culturally, under wildly varying climatic conditions, and we haven’t lost that ability to adapt. Research suggests that when we spend more time in warm or hot summer weather, we can start feeling comfortable at temperatures that once felt insufferable. That’s the key to reducing dependence on air-conditioning: The less you use it, the easier it is to live without it,” he said.

Piss off. No one asked for your opinion or advice.

Owner Looking To Sell Apartment Complex Taken Over By Venezuelan Gang

I’d be surprised if anyone would want to purchase it

Landlord forced to sell Colorado apartment complex after it was taken over by Venezuelan migrant gang Tren de Aragua

A Colorado landlord has agreed to sell a troubled apartment complex that was taken over by the violent Venezuelan migrant gang Tren de Aragua.

Landlord Zev Baumgarten has been fighting with the Denver suburb of Aurora over the Aspen Grove after the city accused him of allowed it to become a trash-ridden, gang-infested hellhole, according to records obtained by the Denver Gazette.

Baumgarten is also the owner of another apartment complex where a viral video showed a crew of gun-toting thugs breaking into a unit, according to the Gazette.

Baumgarten’s company has now agreed to sell, lease, or find some “similar disposition” for the complex — which was shuttered in August, displacing some 300 residents, the Gazette reported.

Of course, he didn’t exactly keep the property properly, nor another owned by his holding company. Regardless, why is the U.S. government allowing known Venezuelan gang members to remain in the United States? It used to be that Los Federales would actively try and catch them and deport them. Now they do….nothing. Heck, how many were actually allowed to cross the border versus sneaking across?

Peruvian illegal immigrant arrested in Virginia after allegedly abducting teenager: police

A Peruvian illegal immigrant has been arrested after allegedly abducting a high school student in Manassas, Virginia, as she was walking to school, according to police.

The Manassas Police Department said 23-year-old Jesus Enrique Ramirez Cabrera was arrested on Friday and charged with abduction, robbery, impersonation of law enforcement and petit larceny.

Police received a call from a resident who said they located a girl in distress near the intersection of Quarry Road and Zebedee Street. (snip)

Federal sources told Fox News that Cabrera is a Peruvian illegal immigrant who was captured at the Arizona border in December and released into the U.S.

This falls directly on the shoulders of Biden-Harris for allowing the situation to get so bad that the authorities cannot do their job in properly vetting those coming in.

Forget The EV, Picked Up An Accord Hybrid

I finally made the decision, and just couldn’t do an EV. If I look at the biggest pros in my mind

  • Ridiculously low lease price of $298 a month with nothing down for 36 months/30,000 miles
  • Bose stereo system, and it is freaking loud
  • The vehicle is pretty loaded
  • Can get $750 worth of free charging
  • Plenty of room, not too long

to the biggest cons

  • It is really wide, 5 inches wider than anything I’ve driven on a consistent basis (not a big negative, though. I could get used to it)
  • There are zero fast chargers near me. Closest could take 15 minutes. I’d have to really plan.
  • Power company said it would cost around $2k to install a level 2 charger out front, since I do not have a garage, based on what they’ve done many times. You only really save money if you charge at home. Charging is my biggest issue, it is just too inconvenient.
  • Range comes into play only a few times a year, like going to Wrightsville Beach or driving to see the parents in NJ. It’s a pain.

Honda put some serious loyalty money on Accords, and I still had some positive equity in my Civic (as things get back to normal, I would have had zero equity in March, since my lease on the Civic ends on April 4th, where a year ago I would probably have had $4k positive in the same situation). There was a white Sport L in the clearance zone, so, really, not much more than a Sport Accord, and I get leather, memory seats, and seat heaters (not that I care, I rarely use them).

And, yes, it is a hybrid. Loving it so far. I’ve obviously driven them, but, never owned one. It is unbelievably quiet, and sneakily fast. Have wireless Android Auto, remote start, and way more. Only thing missing, weirdly, is defrost mirrors. Never noticed that before. I get a lot of ice and fog living with the river behind me. Oh, well, have to keep a bottle of ice away in the trunk again.

It is white, haven’t been a fan of white in a long time (my first car I bought on my own was a white Ford Probe, so, soured me), but, it looks great with the black rims and trim (generic photo from a dealership, too lazy to get up and take a photo)

I would have been ok with red, silver, and Urban Grey. Bright blue and black, no way. The range is good enough I might be able to go between Raleigh and NJ without stopping to fill up.

Maybe by the time this lease is up EVs will be in a position that there is no charging and range anxiety.
