Ahead Of COP29 WHO Wants Health To Be Part Of Climate 9scam) Agenda

I’ve been telling people since the mid-200’s that Hotcoldwetdry is the platform for governmental control over everything, all in the name of Saving The Planet. This is not an environmental movement, it is a political movment

WHO demands urgent integration of health in climate negotiations ahead of COP29

Ahead of the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference in Baku (COP29), the World Health Organization (WHO) calls for an end to reliance on fossil fuels and advocates for people-centred adaptation and resilience.

Launching the COP29 special report on climate and health and a technical guidance on Healthy Nationally Determined Contributions, WHO urges world leaders at COP29 to abandon the siloed approach to addressing climate change and health. It stresses the importance of positioning health at the core of all climate negotiations, strategies, policies and action plans, to save lives and secure healthier futures for present and future generations.

“The climate crisis is a health crisis, which makes prioritizing health and well-being in climate action not only a moral and legal imperative, but a strategic opportunity to unlock transformative health benefits for a more just and equitable future,” said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General. “COP29 is a crucial opportunity for global leaders to integrate health considerations into strategies for adapting to and mitigating climate change. WHO is supporting this work with practical guidelines and support for countries.”

Everything is crisis that dovetails into the climate crisis, and we all need to give our money and freedom to government to fix it all.

Developed by WHO in collaboration with over 100 organizations and 300 experts, the COP29 special report on climate change and health identifies critical policies across three integrated dimensions – people, place and planet. The report outlines key actions aiming to protect all people, particularly the estimated 3.6 billion people who live in areas which are most susceptible to climate change.

The report underlines the importance of the governance that integrates health in climate policy-making – and climate in health policy-making – being essential for progress. The report’s top recommendations include:

end fossil fuel subsidies and reliance by realigning economic and financial systems to protect both people’s health and the environment, through investment in clean, sustainable alternatives that reduce pollution-related diseases and cut carbon emissions;

Perhaps the WHO should mention the 30,000+ who will take fossil fueled trips to COP29? Notice this is also about government essentially taking over the economic and financial sectors. This worked well in the Soviet Union and Venezuela, eh?

build greater focus on the role of cities in health outcomes, through more sustainable urban design, clean energy, resilient housing, and improved sanitation; and

Controlling where you live and where you go. Again, speaking hypothetically, if anthropogenic climate change is real why is virtually every solution about government power, about controlling citizen’s lives and taking their money? And, controlling the health sector does control your life. You want healthcare? Shut up and follow, or else.

Moonbats Send “The Handmaids Tail”, “1984” Up Amazon’s Book Charts

There was a time when Rolling Stone would have laughed at the people buying these books, calling them nuts, and especially noting that 1984 more aptly describes the Biden-Harris regime. Rolling Stone, like so many in rock music, has become a stooge for Big Government

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ and ‘1984’ Return to Amazon’s Bestsellers Charts Following Trump Win

Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale has returned to the top of Amazon’s bestsellers charts, less than 24 hours following the reelection of Donald Trump, a convicted felon and twice impeached former president, to a second term.

The day after Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 general election, Atwood’s dystopian bestselling book saw a staggering 1,826% increase in sales on Amazon’s Movers & Shakers chart. The book previously sat in the 443 spot on the list and has jumped to the eighth spot on the chart.

Remember how Trump forced all women to be like the handmaids during his first term? It was crazy!

In a Rolling Stone interview back in 2021, Atwood discussed watching Trump’s rise “With trepidation! We’ve seen this before. It’s right out of the playbook. The big propaganda lies, the replacement of people in pivotal positions in the judiciary — because every totalitarian regime controls the judiciary. The attempt to subvert the Constitution, the attempted coup. These are motifs that have occurred many times throughout history. The attempt to seize control of communications media. They couldn’t actually do that, but they could try to erase belief in the media as a trustworthy source of information, and replace that with other sources that were telling you there are blood-drinking Democrats in the cellar of a pizza parlor that didn’t have a cellar.”

Huh. She need Xanex. Democrats actually have legislation ready to pack the Supreme Court.

Orwell’s 1949 dystopian novel has also received a rush of sales following the election, up 63% at the time of this writing.

For all the caterwauling about Trump being Hitler 2.0, he wasn’t out there getting news outlets to be his mouthpiece and telling social media companies to do his bidding or else. He wasn’t constantly yammering about “misinformation” and “disinformation”: that was Biden, Harris, people working as agency heads for Biden, federal government agencies under Biden, and them actually working to stop speech that was Wrongthink.

It sure wasn’t Trump out there creating a Ministry Of Truth, ie, Disinformation Governance Board. Trump wasn’t out there arresting people for wandering around the Capitol Building and doing no harm, holding them in solitary, and treating them like terrorists. Trump wasn’t sending prosecutors out to, say, go after Hillary Clinton and her comrades. Or Obama.

Trump sure isn’t the one who pushes for Big Government and Statism.

But, you really can’t expect Democrats to be rational about Trump’s win, can you?

What’s your guess on how many will leave? You’ll have to click the tweet to see the full list, it is longer, and reminds me of 2004 for Bush and 2016 for Trump. Yet, none left. Weird, that.

St. Greta Has A Complete Meltdown Over Trump’s Election

There have been plenty of meltdowns over The Donald winning his second term. This is a great one (via Dana Pico)

It was just a few days ago where she was whining about Trump for the climate scam, but, also blasting Kamala for daring to back Israel, because Greta is going full Israel/Jew hater to the point of supporting Hamas. And she won’t be attending COP29

When national delegates and civil society representatives gather in Baku, Azerbaijan next week for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, one prominent climate voice will not be among them—Greta Thunberg.

The 21-year-old Swedish activist said she would not attend COP29 due to Azerbaijan’s authoritarian record and reliance on fossil fuels, and criticized the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) for naming it as a host.

“It is extreme hypocrisy of the UNFCCC to let yet another authoritarian petrol state host the COP,” Thunberg said in a video posted on social media.

Well, dagnabit, what can they possibly do without St. Greta, who has a degree in….does she even have a degree from high school? But

(Intellinews) Climate activist Greta Thunberg has broadened her profile to take on politically charged issues such as Israel’s bombing of Gaza. Now she has joined the Georgian opposition’s fight and appeared in front of the parliamentary building in Tbilisi on November 4 as thousands gather to protest against what they claim was a fixed election.

“I am here to express my support and solidarity to all activists and citizens who are coming forward to defend their fundamental rights such as freedom, justice and democracy,” Thunberg told InterpressNews on the streets in Tbilisi. “This is an outrageous development, an authoritarian development that is happening in Georgia now, and I have great respect for the people who again and again fill the streets and use the right to demonstrate to express their dissatisfaction with the current situation, despite the oppression.”

Tbilisi is rather far from Sweden. How did she get there? Taking the train wouldn’t actually be easy or quick. It’s not that far from the northwest part of Iran, with Azerbaijan between. Also, it sure looks like St. Greta has quite a bit of clothes and other stuff in the video made with petroleum.

Biden-Harris Regime Plans For Illegal Alien Caravan

What to do, what to do, what to do. Her concession speech was more about telling Democrats to keep fighting, so, what to do about this?

Biden admin is planning for a possible migrant surge before Trump takes office

The Biden administration is making contingency plans for a possible surge in border crossings ahead of a Trump presidency, as more would-be immigrants say they are concerned President-elect Donald Trump will shut down the border, according to two U.S. officials and exchanges between immigrants on WhatsApp groups.

On Monday afternoon, nearly 36 hours before Trump declared victory, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas held a virtual meeting with his top advisers and the heads of Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement in which the participants raised concerns about what a possible Trump victory would do to border security.

The questions posed to the group were not unusual, according to two officials with direct knowledge of the call: How was the Department of Homeland Security operationally prepared to deal with a potential spike in immigration? Was there enough bed space in ICE detention to hold immigrants before deporting them? Would the agencies be able to continue placing migrants who do not qualify for asylum on a rapid path toward removal, or would numbers overwhelm the system and force agents to release migrants into the U.S. with court dates set years into the future?

Um, what happened to the Remain In Mexico policy? Will Biden-Harris and their DHS simply allow any and all “migrants”, most of whom do not qualify for asylum, in? Will they check to see if they are members of known gangs? Have murder, rape, and other felony convictions in other nations? If they have already been deported from the US?

A Customs and Border Protection spokesperson said “migrants should not believe the lies of smugglers.”

“The fact remains: the United States continues to enforce immigration law, and migrants should use safe, lawful, and orderly pathways to come to the United States,” the spokesperson added.

If we were following the law then at least 90% would be denied access and sent packing. And any who illegally cross would be immediately deported, regardless of asylum claims. So, will the Biden-Harris regime try and limit the illegals, or simply throw the border open? I guess it really depends on their advisors, who run everything. Do they want to blow things up for Trump? That could backfire spectacularly, as the Trump admin not only deports all they can, but, ships tons to Democrat cities (dropping them near the homes of Obama and Kamala would be a good start, maybe near Biden’s Delaware home). And, he can use Biden’s own remain in Mexico policy, saying if there are more than, say, 100 encounters in a day then the border gets shut down.

But, you know, I am touched. Absolutely touched by the concern the Biden administration has about the peril of “potential” illegals.

Would it not be wonderful and decent if Biden “our commander in chief” had the same level of “concern” over our veterans and citizens dealing with the aftermath of Helene right now at this moment?

Climate Wackos Spraypaint US Embassy After Trump Win

A goodly chunk of far left wankers aren’t taking Trump’s win too well, so, Warmists be any different?

The rest of the tweet reads

Political systems that can be bought by big oil have no value as we face the biggest challenge of our time.

The only real winner of today’s election is the corporate power that controls the major parties in both the US and UK. They continue to ensure the interests of the fossil fuel industry will continue to be prioritised over the wellbeing of ordinary people.

It is only through people coming together to disrupt business-as-usual that humanity will stand any chance of minimising the effects of climate breakdown, and the social collapse that follows. In Spain this week, hundreds of bodies continue to be dragged from the mud – this is just a small portent of what is to come if we don’t change course immediately.

As long as democracy is hijacked by corporate interests and billionaires, it will fail to deliver the change people are crying out for.

This will always leave the door open for fake populists like Trump to exploit the disaffection many feel. It’s time for ordinary people to step up, organise and make change happen, because it should be clear by now, no political leaders are coming to save us. Just Stop Oil.

The funny part is that everything they were wearing is made from petroleum. Oh, and that the climate cult is pushing authoritarianism. Anyhow, it was in London

(Reuters) London’s Metropolitan Police arrested two men, aged 25 and 72, on suspicion of criminal damage, the force said.

“This activity is vandalism purporting as protest and we will continue to have a zero tolerance attitude to actions such as this,” Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine said in a statement.

England is not fooling with these people anymore

(Weird. Sometimes twitter embeds are working, sometimes not. Had to do it a different way)

Reuters Gives Some Election Takeaways

I’m looking forward to all the meltdowns from the Democrat Kamala voters and Never Trumpers today. Will any of those who promised to leave the U.S. if Trump won actually leave? Very few did when Bush won in 2004 and Trump in 2016. Will there be screaming? Group screaming? Just unhinged behavior? Riots destroying Democrat run cities?

Takeaways from the US presidential election

Republican Donald Trump was on the verge of a convincing win over Democrat Kamala Harris in the U.S. presidential election, avenging his own loss to President Joe Biden four years ago.

How did Trump pull it off? He had the fortune of running when Americans were frustrated by high prices and, to a lesser extent, illegal immigration across the U.S. southern border.

Oh, suddenly the Credentialed Media noticed that Americans feel poorly about the economy.

The national exit poll of voters conducted by Edison Research underscored what public opinion surveys had long shown: Voters are in a bad mood and have been for some time.

Three-fourths of voters surveyed by Edison said the country was going in a negative direction. Of those voters, 61% went for Trump. Of the voters who called themselves “angry,” 71% backed the Republican.

Voters who said the economy was their top concern broke 79% to 20% for Trump, according the poll.

What, they didn’t think the federal government running the food sector via a “price gouging” law/executive order would work?

Voters who believe abortion should be a legal procedure in most instances surprisingly only backed Harris 51% to 47%, suggesting Trump’s efforts to blur his position may have partially negated one of her largest advantages.

Now, that’s an interesting exit poll. It suggests that abortion is not as big an issue as all the Kamala ads stated.

Perhaps most notably for Harris, the three-fourths of voters who said they felt U.S. democracy was “threatened” split their vote evenly between the two candidates.

Obviously, they didn’t think Kamala was the answer.

Though many blocs of voters were supporting the Democratic or Republican candidate in similar numbers to 2020, according to the exit polls, Trump was showing greater strength with male voters of color and with voters under 45 compared to four years ago.

Those under 45 realized that holding on to their college years Liberal leanings isn’t putting food on the table or paying the energy bill.

He also appeared to be holding onto enough women supporters in America’s suburbs to prevail despite Harris’ best attempts to pull them away. The national exit poll showed Trump with a 51% to 47% edge with suburban white women voters.

So, all that push for women to have abortions didn’t help when food costs are up over 21% on average? Huh.

BTW, Washington D.C. went for Kamala 90.4% to 6.6% with 94% of the vote counted. A total cesspool of leftists who either live in the projects or work for the government.

Former Rep Mike Pappas Explains Why “Polluter Pays” Is A Bad Idea

If only Republicans at the state and federal levels would introduce bills to make those who vote for ‘climate change’ bills give up all use of fossil fuels for official business. As a start

Op-Ed: ‘Polluter pays’ bill to address climate change is not in main street’s best interest

New Jersey lawmakers just introduced another feel-good “solution” to the climate crisis that will make life worse for everyday Americans in the Garden State.

In late September, Democratic State Sen. John McKeon began lobbying aggressively in favor of a bill that would force companies to pay a tax for “causing” climate change.

His legislation comes on the heels of a very similar bill that several Democratic U.S. senators introduced on the federal level on September 12.

These two pieces of legislation, which employ the so-called “Polluter Pays Principle” that’s gained popularity among leftist politicians, would have government bureaucrats calculate how much each company must pay for their part in “causing” this climate crisis.

What could possibly go wrong with giving bureaucrats this power?

These “Polluter Pays” bills  are being marketed as a way to ensure marketplace fairness and a cleaner country, but in reality, they would penalize companies for the “crime” of doing business in our state — for driving the cars that put food on our tables and make our supply chain hum and for providing us with the oil, gas, and energy we need to heat our homes and start our cars.

That’s not a recipe for fairness; it’s a recipe for grinding commerce in New Jersey to a halt.

It’s a recipe for companies leaving the state, and, those that can’t will pass the costs onto the consumers

With such a law in effect, fewer fossil fuel companies will choose to do business in New Jersey, and the ones that continue doing so will have no choice but to raise their prices to offset the added operational costs.

What happens when they decide to just leave? When there are few gas stations? And those that don’t will simply raise their costs, from gas to sodas and hot dogs and stuff where they are convenience stores? And a lot use natural gas for cooking and heating.

Moreover, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, almost three-quarters of New Jersey households use natural gas as their primary heating fuel, and nearly half of the state’s total electricity generation is provided by it.

With energy prices already pretty high, this will not go over well. But, all those who vote Democrat should take it on the chin and not complain, right?

Put another way, polluters won’t pay; New Jerseyans will. Here’s hoping these bills get shelved quickly.

But, they won’t expect them to pass. Hopefully it doesn’t mean a boatload more more down to NC and forgetting why they left NJ.

WWIII Watch: North Korean Troops Fight In Ukraine For First Time

While we’re waiting for the supposed reprisal from Iran, which will mean Israel will retaliate, what’s going on in Ukraine?

North Korea Enters Ukraine Fight for First Time, Officials Say

North Korean troops have entered the fight in Russia’s war against Ukraine, clashing for the first time with Ukrainian forces who are occupying a large chunk of Russia’s Kursk region, according to a senior Ukrainian official and a senior U.S. official.

The engagement was limited, the Ukrainian official said, and likely meant to probe the Ukrainian lines for weaknesses. The North Koreans fought together with Russia’s 810 Separate Naval Infantry Brigade, the official said.

It was unclear when the fighting took place. The Ukrainian official offered no details about casualties, but the U.S. official said a significant number of North Korean troops were killed. Both officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to share sensitive military information.

The North Korean troops are part of what Ukrainian and Western officials estimate to be a contingent of about 10,000 soldiers sent by the North’s leader, Kim Jong-un, to bolster Russian forces trying to dislodge the Ukrainians from the Kursk region. Ukraine’s forces currently hold about 250 square miles there after an incursion that began last summer.

Well, obviously, the US needs to send tens of billions more in cash and weapons to Ukraine. They aren’t doing more then holding the Russians off, but, the big wigs and politicians in Ukraine are seeing their bank balances grow.

In his nightly address, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine seemed to confirm that North Korean forces had entered the fight, and he called on Ukraine’s allies to assist in confronting this new threat.

“The first battles with North Korean soldiers mark a new chapter of global instability,” he said. “Together with the world, we must do everything to ensure that this Russian step toward expanding the war — this true escalation — becomes a loss.”

Will it escalate, though? There’s not much in the European press about Ukraine, including this. It’s not topline news. The EU leaders aren’t calling for dumping more weapons into Ukraine. They aren’t making speeches. Perhaps the concern for Ukraine is waning? Right now it’s just a stalemate, and the longer it goes on the greater the chance of escalation that drags NATO in.
